Katherine Gold is our CEO, Owner and President. Katherine has been with goldbug from the very beginning and grown up in this business. Over the last 24 years, Katherine has built her family owned and operated business, goldbug, into one of the United States’ largest distributors of children’s accessory products. She is an advocate and leader on industry board associations and in the non-profit community. Katherine’s lifelong commitment to children’s issues and education has led her to become an advocate and leader on board associations and in the non-profit community. She is past Chair of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association which represents the multi-billion dollar children’s furniture and bedding industry. She served on the Board of the Colorado Children’s Campaign as past Chair. She is a board member of the Rose Community Foundation and serves on the Executive Committee of the American Apparel and Footwear Association in Washington, DC. She is an ongoing advisor offering business leadership in the Young Presidents Organization and the International women-in-business group, C-200. She is also a member of the International Women’s Forum and was selected to serve on The Federal Reserve Economic Advisory Council, 10th District. Goldbug proudly sponsors a Denver Public elementary school through the Denver Public School Foundation. Her recognitions include Earnshaw’s magazine’s Outstanding Business Leader and Children’s Business Magazine’s Outstanding Entrepreneur Award. Particularly exciting as the sole woman owner of goldbug, Katherine received the Most Powerful Women Award in Colorado, in 2015.
