[Denver, CO] - Goldbug announced that Sholeh Mirzai has been hired as chief merchandising officer (CMO). In this new role, Sholeh will serve as a member of the company's executive team and will lead merchandising, product development, design and marketing across all of goldbug's brands and product categories. She will report to Katherine Gold, CEO, president and owner.
Sholeh joins goldbug from VF where she was the global merchandising director for JanSport and Eagle Creek. While at VF, Sholeh also shared her passion for bringing inclusion practices into the workplace by founding and becoming the co-chair of JanSport and Eagle Creek's Inclusion and Diversity Council.
"Sholeh is a strong merchant with a proven track record leading teams to develop new and innovative products across a range of categories, and we are delighted to welcome her to our team" said Katherine. "I'm confident she will bring a consumer focus and fresh perspective as we continue to expand our business." Prior to VF, Sholeh held roles at Under Armour where she was the global product director for accessories and bags and The North Face where she managed the backpacks and travel categories. The goldbug brand has a long and rich history and I am looking forward to what we will be able to accomplish in our next chapter."
